#2: What's my favorite class and why?

Number #2 in the 30 days of Warcraft series!

It may not come entirely as a surprise when I tell you that my favorite class is... a hunter!

Like so many hunters, what first sold me to the class were the pets. Back in the day you'd have to level up to level 10 before you were able to have one. It was a pretty annoying questline because you had to tame three pets from all over the island before you got the tame spell and it always took ages to run back. Also, I died the first time I tried to tame a pet cause I didn't anticipate that the beast would attack me as I tried to tame it. -_-

I've always been more into ranged classes than melee, and while I like all ranged classes, I love how more resilient hunters are. As hunter, you can just run through a field full of mobs five levels higher than you and not die. That, and the fact that you have a pet to fight alongside you / keep the aggro away from yourself, makes levelling as a hunter effortless and fun. Plus we have some of the coolest abilities in the game, like Aspect of the Fox, Disengage, Feign Death...
